In Studio: Monthly Meditation for Health and Well Being (Donation)
Mental health is an important component of EVERYONE'S health and wellbeing. The challenges of the past year have heightened levels of stress and anxiety for many of us- and reminded us of the importance of the mind-body connection. Join Lourdes the first Sunday of every month for a practice that combines the tools of Yoga with self-regulation techniques to help you "rewire" your nervous system into a more balanced state of wellbeing. You will leave each class with new "tools" and practices to help you build resilience into your busy life. We will begin each class with a gentle yoga practice to help relax the body and prepare the mind for breath and meditation. This class is appropriate for ALL levels.
This is a donation-based class, and all proceeds will be donated to local mental health charities serving our community. The suggested donation is $10, but all donations are welcome, and all students are welcome regardless of ability to pay.
Lourdes Wiley has been serving the holistic needs of patients as an RN for 20 years. She is an Integrative Yoga Therapy teacher with trauma-informed training, a Certified HeartMath Clinician, and Certified Health Coach. It is her joy to share these evidence-based tools and techniques to help anyone interested in learning them.
