A Journey of Self Discovery This is a series of 6 facilitated mediations designed to bring relaxation, awareness, and clarity to your personal journey. This meditation practice is grounded in the premise that we contain all the answers within us. However, the noise of the current world makes it increasingly difficult to tap into our inner wisdom. A team of psychology experts at Queen's University in Canada found that we generate 6,000 to 8,000 thoughts per day. Therefore, even if we do happen to find a moment to sit down and think, those 6,000 to 8,000 thoughts break-in and making it difficult to find the path to the answer we are looking for. Not to mention our phones, notifications, texts, emails and all the other distractions we experience in a day. This practice facilitates the opportunity to find calm in the storm. The 6 sessions will be conducted in the comfort of your home by holding them on Zoom. You will need a comfortable and quiet place to sit or lie down, water, an eye mask, and a journal. A headset or earphones will make the experience richer. Each session will be an hour. The 6 meditations are described below. 1. Think, Feel, Listen This mediation introduces us to how it feels to listen from within 2. Letting go, letting in, letting be This meditation helps us to identify what we need to let go of and now that we have more space, what do we want to let in. Finally, what do we just need to let be. 3. Unhook This meditation has us identify all the people, project, goals we are responsible for. Then we will let go of all that and identify what we need to do to take the best care of ourselves. 4. Your Scared Place This mediation is designed to help facilitate gaining new perspective or a new outlook on something by giving us the space to think about it. 5. Freedom from, Freedom to This mediation facilitates the identification of something one needs freedom from. Once space is open then there is a prompt to think about what this gives us freedom to do. 6. The 3 V’s This mediation facilitates the identification of a goal that will bring the most joy to one’s life. Then internally we will visualize, verbalize, and vitalize the goal.
You will not be charged for a cancelled class unless the class is full and has a waitlist. For workshops and mini retreats, you will receive a refund for any cancelled registration prior to 24 hours from the event. If cancelled within 24 hours of the event, your registration will not be refunded.
