Service Description

#3 Healthy Embodiment for Women’s Health (Saturday March 26th) Many of us have a complicated relationship with our physical bodies. Would you like to improve your relationship with yours? In this workshop we learn to truly “listen” to the wisdom of the body and examine methods to feel at “home” within it. We learn how our “cycles” as women- regardless of our stage of life-show up in our bodies and how our physical needs CAN and DO change on a regular basis. We will consider how to use our feminine traits as an advantage rather than a disadvantage. This workshop is aimed at offering you a unique approach to caring for your physical body and loving it even if you do wish to change it, strengthen it, or mold it in any way that serves you. We will help you identify how to make the right movement your “medicine” and support you in new ways to befriend your body. An all-levels yoga practice will be incorporated into our afternoon. Lourdes Wiley, MS, RN, RYT, LMT Lourdes has dedicated over 20 years to holding space for patients and students as an RN and Nurse Educator. Lourdes’s explorations have led to becoming a Yoga Teacher, Licensed Massage Therapist, and Mind-Body Specialist. She holds various certifications in fitness, and herbal medicine.
